Day One: Getting the Feel

So here it is, the first day of Cops and Robbers. Paradise City has been in bloom for weeks with the extras living everyday lives, going to jobs, chilling at their homes, shopping and such. These extras have been here so long so they won’t know exactly when the game starts so they will not be ready when the robberies begin. The three teams have entered the city and have begun the game. If you need the map, remember there is a shortcut on my links underneath my picture. Let’s begin with some information about what is going on with the Cops.

At the Police Station, the team of 12 cops began to get settled in their new place of occupation for one month. They each chose a desk, and sat down to discuss how best to protect the city. Firstly they decided to set up a patrol of the city. Six of the twelve would patrol in pairs, while the other six would stay in the station, or sleep in their homes.
The Private Investigators were given the addresses of their homes and they went to them and began to work out what they knew about the city they now lived in, and what they would have to do to find information.
The robbers were given information to where their hideout would be, and they went to said hideout and began to talk about where to go and what to do.

The Following is the account of Matthew “The Wit” Binnington on Day One

It was midnight and the group of twelve robbers was sitting at a round table in a basement in the residential area of the South-east quadrant of Paradise City. The basement hideout was the connected basements of 52, 53 and 54 Logger Court.
The houses looked just like all the other houses in the neighborhood from the outside, but underneath was a large basement stocked with dark clothing, some high-tech gear and two laser-guns. The guns being used in this game use a complicated laser system which will lock on to a target, triggering the censors on the suit of each person in this game (including civilians) and the person who is shot will be notified if they are mortally injured or not. If they are, they will be eliminated from this game, and when the action dies down, will get up and be escorted from the game.
The Wit thought that having only two of these guns would cause problems among the robbers. There were definitely some strong wills in this group, and if push came to shove he didn’t want to be in the same room as those guns. He had been told that robbers could kill each other as easily as anyone else in this game, and that the producers expected it in the later days. The Wit knew he would have to be smart to survive in this group.
The Architect had suggested that the team split up and walk throughout the city, finding the best spots (stores and banks) to rob in the coming month. The Architect had decided upon three groups of three, and the others didn’t seem to have a problem with his leadership so The Wit didn’t say anything either. The groups were as follows: The Cold Killer, The Stylist and The Legend. Then The Menace, The Verdict and The Chump. And lastly, The Swagger, The Wit and The Drama Queen. It had somehow been decided that The Architect, The Hutt and The Muscle would stay behind and “protect the hideout.”
So making as little commotion as possible, The Wit and his group set out of their connected basement and headed west towards the South-west quadrant.

Upon the Drama Queen’s suggestion, The Wit had reluctantly begun holding her hand so they would not seem so suspicious. The Swagger merely walked a ways behind, appearing to be on a late-night stroll by himself. The Wit was not uncomfortable holding The Drama Queen’s hand, but she seemed to be enjoying it a little too much for his liking. They had only just met. He could hear The Swagger chuckling behind them, but didn’t turn to look at him. Anybody could be watching.
Soon, they crossed King Street and saw the shadowy shops on the other side, and knew that it would be easy for them to hide while they searched. The Wit couldn’t see the signs of the shops but he knew that once he crosses to the north side of Nickel Drive, he would be in the back alleys of the stores, hidden in shadow, hidden from any eyes that could be peering at them. The Swagger caught up with them, and they began to discuss what types of stores they probably were. As they were talking The Wit thought he heard other voices coming towards them. He listened closer, but the other two kept on talking, and suddenly two men walked past the building to their left. The Drama Queen quickly shoved The Swagger into a garbage can in the shadows, grabbed The Wit and began kissing him violently against a wall. The two men who had turned in towards them, seemingly to discover their intentions, turned away and began to walk back towards Rowde Road, laughing to themselves.
The Wit pushed The Drama Queen off of him and wiped his face. The Swagger got up off the ground and brushed the dust and garbage off himself, looking disgusted with The Drama Queen. She merely smirked at him, smacked The Wit’s bottom and walked over to a building to peer in a window. The two men that passed by in the illumination of the streetlights had both been about 5’11 but one was very built with a shaved head and dark stubble and the other had been skinnier with long blonde hair. They were both wearing blue uniforms. The Wit knew the game had already started, but it hadn’t hit him until he saw members of the opposing team within 100 yards of them, with all the power in the world to eliminate them with one laser gunshot.
When they walked over to join The Drama Queen, they looked in the window and saw that the store was filled with jewelry. They Swagger having a history in the jewelry business could tell right away that this was not a high class jewelry store, but that the merchandise would be worth stealing. As far as the Wit was concerned this dark alley was the perfect place for their first heist, and he would bring that information back to the hideout to discuss it with the team. As they carefully made their way back to Logger Court, The Wit wondered how the other groups were faring.
Late into the night the team of robbers discussed their different options for the first heist. The Wit thought they should take advantage of the dark alleyway and rob the store by night, while some others, mainly The Muscle thought that they should hold it up by day to show the cops what they were up against. The discussion seemed to be going nowhere.
By the time the sun had come up, the entire team of robbers had gone to bed for some rest. They had many more difficult days ahead of them and they would need their rest. When The Wit woke up, most of the team had gone, and the Hutt informed him that they were out getting a feel for the city. He knew that would be very important and he decided to go out as well, back to that jewelry store to find the in. Every potential target has an in, you just have to find it. He asked the Hutt if he was leaving as well but he said he would prefer to stay indoors for now.
Next time on Cops and Robbers: The Robbers begin to organize their strategy for the jewelry store, but tension arises as there is a divide in the team.

The robbers will have to buy/find/steal more weapons... this is to encourage non-force heists at the start. They can get more, but right now they shouldn't have lots. The cops stuff will be answered soon.

Case and point, even amongst law-breaking felons, you just never know where you're going to meet a nice girl. I'd still throw her in front of an incoming bullet in order to win the game though...

Sir,
I have some bad premonitions based upon the robbers opening act. Harris’ character is lazy, that girl (character) is a ‘floozy’ and there seems to be a problematic lack of leadership. The robbers are given this prognosis: divided and conquered.
