Day Twelve: Prison Break

PI Micah George was walking down Pewter St. towards King. It was early evening on the twelfth day, and Micah had been walking the streets looking for anything intriguing and noteworthy. Earlier there had been people walking around, window-shopping, but no one had looked suspicious. Micah was seriously doubting his ability to read people, and to find clues. He didn’t like to get in the action and risk his life. He much preferred to watch from a distance, and try and find information. Today he walked around Paradise City all day but did not see anything at all, and he was very discouraged. He soon reached the intersection of King and Pewter, and there appeared to be some people sneaking around the Police Station. Finally, Micah thought.

------------------------------------------------

The Chump stood against the brick wall of the Police station directly to the side of the front doors. Because he was going to be the first person through the door he had the one gun. The plan was simple: rush in and threaten with the gun for the release of the prisoners, or shoot if that doesn’t work. The Chump was a little nervous. He had volunteered to be the first one through the door, and with that responsibility he was the first person to risk his life if the Cops decided to shoot first. He knew it was a huge risk, but it needed to be done.

------------------------------------------------

The Following is the account of Captain Cameron Hodge on Day Twelve

Sipping on his chocolate milk at his desk, Captain Cam was still going over the information from Naysayer Publishing. They had five captives, three of which were from Naysayer and two they had had from a very early day. One Robber, “The Drama Queen” had released some information on her teammates’ characteristics. Some of this info had turned out to be true when some of the other Robbers were arrested. Because of this fact, Chief Pitman had decided to trust the rest of her information.

Officer Edwards was playing receptionist behind the counter, Chief Pitman and Officer Siebenmorgan were both at their desks, while Sergeants Clements and Wells were guarding the prisoners in the other room. It was turning out to be a quiet evening.

Abruptly, a masked man with a gun burst in the front door followed by three other masked men yelling for all the Cops to get on the floor. Captain Cam didn’t know how many guns the Robbers had, but they each seemed to have guns in their hands, and that appeared to be enough for Officer Edwards as he dropped to the floor. Chief Pitman slowly lowered himself to the floor and gestured to Captain Cam to do the same. Cam looked through small window and could see Sergeant Wells peering to see what was going on. Officer Siebenmorgan dropped to the floor as well, but not before he slid his gun off the desk and under his shirt.

The first man yelled at Captain Cam to go over to the iron door and slowly open it, as he moved towards it to get a good angle with his gun. Captain Cam reluctantly stood up and moved towards the door. No chances, he thought. He opened the door and loudly so the Robbers could hear told Sergeants Wells and Clements to come out with their hands up. No one gets eliminated today. Thankfully, Clements and Wells decided not to take any risks as they didn’t want to be eliminated either. Cam hated giving up like this, but they had a chance at winning over a million dollars if they survived to the end of the game. The problem was, if they let these Robbers go, they lost $75,000 for each Robber that escaped.

So with Wells and Clements safely on the floor as well, the first man followed Cam into the holding block with the gun at his back. Cam could see the Robber was tall, and had reddish-blonde hair jutting out of his mask. The five captive Robbers were getting rowdy as they were obviously excited about being rescued. The Swagger, who had been in jail for like ten days was jumping up and down with anticipation. Out of the corner of his eye, Captain Cam could see Officer Siebenmorgan moving to get his gun out of his shirt. No don’t he thought desperately. Still with the gun at his back, Captain Cam opened each of the three cell doors and once all the doors were open, all five robbers followed Captain Cam and the first Robber out of the jail room.

Once in the main room, Officer Cam could see that the three other Robbers were keeping this room in control. They stood separated with their guns drawn, seemingly daring any of the Cops to make a move. Cam saw that Chief Pitman was trying to get the attention of Officer Siebenmorgan who was looking braver by the minute. With six Cops and nine Robbers in the main room, Captain Cam knew that if Siebenmorgan tried to be a hero he could get them all eliminated. As the previously jailed Robbers were being ushered to the front doors, Officer Siebenmorgan stood up.

Before Officer Siebenmorgan could get a shot off, the tall Robber with the gun spun around and shot him in the chest, knocking him to the ground. Immediately, all the Cops were on their feet running for their guns, which none of them had on them. Captain Cam had expected a gun fight, but instead the Robbers all attempted to escape, tripping all over themselves to get out the door. The three masked Robbers were the first ones out the door as none of them even took a shot. The mayhem subsided as all the Robbers but the knocked over “Hutt” were out the door. Sergeant Wells and Officer Edwards grabbed their guns and ran out the door in hopes of catching the escaping Robbers.

Captain Cam decided not to chase the Robbers, but walked over to Officer Siebenmorgan who was sitting on the floor with his head down. His suit was repeating “You have been eliminated. Stay where you are and wait to be escorted from the game.” Chief Pitman was sitting at his desk shaking his head, apparently having a hard time believing what had just happened. Sergeant Clements was calmly placing The Hutt back in his cell. Captain Cam walked over to pick up a gun that one of the Robbers had dropped. Upon further review, this gun appeared to be sticks taped together and spray-painted black. In his frustration, Captain Cam threw the gun against the wall.

-----------------------------------------------------

Micah George stood outside in the dark, hiding from all the action that just occurred in and outside the Police Station. He was able to write down some descriptions of the Robbers, as well as see which way they ran. Soon, he would go the way they went, to try and figure out where the Robbers’ hideout was.

So Day Twelve saw the elimination of the game’s first Cop, Officer Phil Siebenmorgan.

Grand DAy... Good story I was excited for and anticipating this jail break for a while. Well done. I particularly enjoyed the line about CLements putting the hutt back in jail. It was comically both of their actions well said.

hey anonymous why cant u put posts with ur real name? dont be a baby

as for your comment i think its the other way around cause its all the cops that have the cuffs and like using them. you cage up the robbers to take advantage of them and we have to break them out so u guys dont take it to far. see how fast the robbers wanted out of the station well everyone except the hutt, maybe he likes the cuff almost as much as the cops. hahahahahahahahahaha

also tyla i thought the cops were weak and it was true, just take a look at the day. we got our other robbers out and you guys could stop it.
