Day Seventeen: A Pleasant Surprise

The Stylist sat in her cell and sipped a hot chocolate. It had been a gift from Captain Dirks whom she had wrapped around her little finger. It didn’t take much to get information out of him either. All she had to do was compliment his long hair, or his slim torso and she had an in. Over the last couple days he had told her about the Cops’ patrol schedule, what they were currently working on, whether it be protecting quadrants or searching for the Robbers’ hideout, she knew it all. The Hutt had not been useful at all, as he just hung out in his cell complaining about the lack of pizza. But They Stylist knew that if she were ever able to escape or be rescued, she would have a lot of information.

The Following is the Account of Dan “The Cold Killer” Wylie on Day Seventeen:

Sitting on his bed with Cops coming in and out of the Hospital had become very tiring for The Cold Killer. He knew that in a few minutes he would be officially released from the Hospital (his “wound” healed) and then he would be arrested and taken across the street to the Police Station. For him, it was either be arrested or be eliminated, so it was an easy choice. The Cold Killer had heard through Cop conversation that the Robbers had pulled off a couple heists successfully and he was eager to get back to his team and enjoy the success. But most likely, that was not to be.

Abruptly, a hand was on The Cold Killer’s shoulder. Lt. Michael Wilson told him that his time was up, and that he would be escorting The Cold Killer into custody. It was mid-afternoon, so The Cold Killer knew that there was not much hope of rescue from his team. Standing up from his bed, and wishing Officer Stephen Edwards well(he was in the bed beside him with a more serious “injury”), The Cold Killer put his hands behind his back and allowed himself to be cuffed by Lt. Wilson. Following the Cop out the front door of the hospital, the two men turned and headed towards the Police Station. Lt. Wilson walked ahead of The Cold Killer and took his first step onto King St. when suddenly there were three loud gunshots and Lt. Wilson was knocked onto the ground and The Cold Killer was shocked to see Matt “The Wit” Binnington run around the corner and rush The Cold Killer down King St. away from the Police Station.

They were able blend into the crowd of extras that was surrounding the intersection, but kept up their pace to get away. The Cold Killer could not believe what had just happened. The Wit was supposed to be eliminated. The Architect had told everybody that The Wit had been killed by the Cops at Naysayer Publishing, but here he was, and he had just killed a Cop. Running through the residential area, The Wit and The Cold Killer stopped at 75 Temple Lane. The Cold Killer after catching his breath, asked The Wit what was going on, but The Wit rushed him into the house before saying a word.

------------------------------------------------------------

Sergeant Wells stood leaning against the outside wall of the hospital. Cops and civilians were still milling around, talking about what had just happened. In broad daylight a Robber had just killed a Cop. He just ran down the road took some shots and continued off with one of their prisoners. Wells didn’t know how the Cops on duty let this happen, but he was sure had he been on duty The Cold Killer would not have escaped. For the last couple days he had been keeping his eye on The Cold Killer, because he knew an escape attempt would occur, but unfortunately he hadn’t been on duty during the transfer. Sergeant Wells decided that if he was to accomplish one thing and one thing only by the end of the game, it would be to find, capture or kill The Cold Killer. He set off in the direction he was told the two Robbers went.

----------------------------------------------------------

Dan “The Cold Killer” Wylie reclined on a couch, sipping lemonade, and listened to The Wit’s story of betrayal and hardship. As Dan listened his jaw dropped open, but after he thought about it, he realized that The Architect was certainly capable of what he did. As the Wit relayed his plans for The Architect’s recompense, Dan realized that no matter what he thought, he would have to help The Wit with his cause because now he owed him. Sure The Cold Killer was angry at The Architect, but he didn’t want to risk elimination. He quickly realized he was in a tough situation, but when looking at The Wit who wanted so dearly to repay The Architect, The Cold Killer agreed to help him. It was going to be risky, but over some sandwiches they began to formulate a plan.

----------------------------------------------------------

Adam “The Chump” Clarke looked over the notes he had been accumulating since the beginning of the game. He never revealed these notes to any of his teammates because he knew they would try and use them. In The Chump’s eyes, these notes gave him a decided advantage in the game, and they could give the edge at the end. Right now, what The Chump was looking at specifically was the notes he had taken on the dreadlocked man. This guy had been posing a problem recently, and he had must have had lots of information about the Robbers. He would have to be silenced soon.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Eliminated today was:
Lieutenant Michael Wilson

Hey Cowin,
I've already discussed this with you. EVERYTHING I have written so far in this game has been planned from the beginning on my detailed schedule.

Whatever you "called" and posted at earlier times was not because it was your idea and I poached it, it was because I may be a little predictable.

So don't go getting all cocky or I may just have to eliminate you. (and that, you would not have predicted.)

Another fine example of Hamilton's brilliant ability to surprise us (except Cowin) with death, destruction and a variety of twists and turns.

Altogether I'm quite excited to see all personal vendettas come to their full fruition. I also can't wait to see how Micah plans to use me to gain more information (although personally I would rather I turn the tables and use him for my benefit)

Vote for Pat
