Day Twenty-Three: One Robber Left

Private Investigator Pat Sutherland ran back to his house to send the picture he had taken of the Robbers in front of their hideout. He had seen the SWAT truck come and take one of them away, but Pat thought that maybe his picture which identified the other two Robbers may make him some money. When the SWAT team got that picture they would be able to patrol the city and if they found either of those two Robbers they would be able to arrest him, and Pat would make $100,000. This picture wasn’t much, but it was something.

---------------------------------------------------------

“Chief” Scott Heidman sat at his desk with his head in his hands thinking about the game so far. How maddening it was that his team went behind his back and made that raid the other day! How could they do that to their own teammate? But how pissed could he be, now that they had 5 Robbers behind bars? He looked around the room at his team. It really had fallen apart. With Officer Eby being killed last night, Captain Cam being killed the other day, Sgts. Wells and Clements in the hospital, and Chief Kyle Pitman who abandoned them nowhere to be found, the Cops looked the be struggling. In the station right now was the rest of his team. Officers Steve Edwards and Tyla Leonard sat talking to eachother. Captain Dirks was watching the prisoners with Lt. Amanda Maurice. And that was it. At least the two wounded Cops should be out by the end of the day.

The following is the account of Andrew “The Menace” Cowin on Day Twenty-Three:

The Menace had let The Legend go to the hospital by himself. There was no way that with this bag containing $200,000 The Menace was going anywhere near that hospital. Where he was headed was the mystery buildings he had heard so much about in the south-west quadrant. He didn’t know much about them, but he did know that they had contained some pretty sweet tunnels, and one building in particular had contained a plethora of guns and stuff. It was around these buildings that he was going to hide this bag, and then get to work.

----------------------------------------------------------

Christopher “The Muscle” Pitman sat on a sofa with a beer in one hand and a television remote in the other. The time running out in the half, The Muscle’s Colts were leading the Pats by 28. It was a good game for the Colts, and The Muscle was happy. So this was the jail that the SWAT officers ran. It was a pretty sweet setup, and the game helped The Muscle feel a little better about the fact that he was eliminated from Cops and Robbers. It was frustrating, but beside him on the couch was a female SWAT officer named Cecilia. The Muscle didn’t really like the name, but he liked the look of her, and it was on. The game may be over, but not so was The Muscle’s chance to score.

----------------------------------------------------------

After hiding the bag, The Menace with two guns drawn decided to check out the mystery buildings. After breaking down a couple doors, he found the building that led to the underground tunnels which made their way throughout the entire city, making stops along the way at different buildings. Guns in hand, The Menace made his way through the tunnels until he found something interesting; a door labeled Paradise City Jewelers. Not tonight, The Menace thought, but soon… After he freed some Robbers. But freeing the Robbers would have to wait as well. Tonight, The Menace was going to rob a place. He just had to find one.

---------------------------------------------------------

The Architect hadn’t exactly given up when The Wit had a gun pointed at him, but he had thought for a second that his game was over. Well it wasn’t and now The Architect was going to do whatever it took to escape this jail and finish what he started by killing The Wit. He had been talking with The Hutt and The Stylist and together they had a plan to escape. The Cops were down to probably only around six members and with five Robbers in jail they could do it. All they needed was for something important to attract some of the Cops outside to go on a raid, and they would be home free. The Stylist had stolen keys from Captain Dirks when they were flirting, and apparently he hadn’t noticed until recently when he checked the cells. He never found it, and the Robbers were home free, if they didn’t have an entire team of Cops to get past.

---------------------------------------------------------

Near the mystery buildings in the south-west quadrant a man was closing up shop at Underwood Convenience. The man opened the till and brought it to the back room to put in the safe for the night. Abruptly, the door that was not supposed to open burst open and a giant with a black mask on jumped into the room with guns firing into the man. The Menace could not believe his luck as the man’s money flew into the air and fell to the floor. Quickly The Menace shoved the man aside and stuffed all the money as quick as he could into a bag and then ran to the front of the store to see what else he could find. After breaking open the second till, The Menace found it to be full and again stuffed all the moneys into his bag. Jumping over the man sitting on the floor in the back, The Menace ran back into the tunnel with the bag strapped over his back and both guns drawn and facing forwards. Money was good, it was even better now that he was the only one to have it.

--------------------------------------------------------

The Legend had walked into the hospital hours ago, and with the Cops already in there, he had basically surrendered. But he knew that when he was released from the Hospital there was a chance that The Menace would free him on the way over to Prison. Also, if he got into prison, he would have 5 teammates there to help him escape. He was in a bad position, but The Legend always liked to look on the bright side of life.

So today we say goodbye to our burley friend Christopher “The Muscle” Pitman.

He pretty much shot like 8 people in the game, and although he went down and get arrested it was not in vain, as his teammates were able to escape. I like him lots, and I will miss writing about him.

The Standings so far:
Cops:
Five Robbers arrested at $75,000 each
Total: $375,000 split 8 ways.

Robbers:
$200,000 split 2 ways

PIs:
Nathalie: $200,000
Pat: nada

Next time on Cops and Robbers… With The Menace on the loose, some Cops try to get the last Robber, while the ones they have in custody are not going to stick around for long.

ahahaha cecilia,
you're breaking my heart.

are osko's 'points' going to be added to the tally?

that was a funny one, but we gotta watch out for this last robber, its easiest to be so aggressive when you are alone.

who is content to sit and chat for the rest of the game

Excellent humor with 'The Muscle" and his rondevous with this SWAT team member. I hope my photograph takes the cake and I win some money. Although Micah being dead is a victory in and of its own.

Needless to say... another fine addition
