Welcome Back

Greetings and salutations to all my friends who have come back to robbersandcops.blogspot.com to check out the final third of this Cops and Robbers internet reality show. Throughout the past school year, I had the pleasure of presenting to you eighteen days of original Cops and Robbers action, and although it was sparsely presented, I spend much time thinking and planning for your reading pleasure. This September I will conclude Cops and Robbers with the final eleven days of the game, which I hope you will all enjoy. The following is a recap of the action so far, and some hints to what you can expect in the days leading up to the finale.

The game started with the twenty-five contestants moving to a secluded cityscape called Paradise City. These contestants were split into three different teams, and given small homes to live in for the thirty days of the competition. The teams were the Cops, the Robbers, and the Private Investigators.
The Cops consisted of Chief Kyle Pitman, Deputy Chief Scott Heidman, Cpt. Cameron Hodge, Lt. Mike Wilson, Cpt. Nathan Dirks, Sgt. Tyler Wells, Lt. Amanda Maurice, Officer Tyla Leonard, Sgt. Chris Clements, Officer Lindsay Eby, Officer Phil Siebenmorgan and Officer Steve Edwards.
The Robbers were Ryan “The Architect” Mateulewicz, Chris “The Muscle” Pitman, Andrew “The Menace” Cowin, Chris “The Hutt” Harris, Siobhan “The Stylist” Wilson, Adam “The Chump” Clarke, Bryant “The Legend” Trotman, Dan “The Cold Killer” Wylie, Matt “The Verdict” Hinton, Damien “The Swagger” Lorfice, Amanda “The Drama Queen” Fournie, and Matt “The Wit” Binnington.
The Private Investigators were Silas Pedro, Micah George, Pat Sutherland, Michelle Whiting and Nathalie Hainaut.
The Cops set up a patrol schedule and began to get to know Paradise city, as did the private investigators who would be working individually to gain knowledge of the city and more importantly the people living in it. The Robbers on the other hand, had to begin to plan heists and robberies to start making some moneys for themselves, but that couldn’t happen until the team started to get along. Now I will recap day by day the happenings in Cops and Robbers up to this point. Hopefully it will go quickly.

Day One: Matt “The Wit” Binnington and Amanda “The Drama Queen” Fournie had an intimate moment while investigating potential shops to rob. Damien “The Swagger” Lorfice who was along with the two lovebirds found a jewelry store called Kerley’s Jewelers.
Day Two: While the Cops and the PI’s continued to get to know the city, the Robbers met together to decide on a first heist. The Drama Queen decided to check out the Jewelry store again, and was noticed by PI Pat Sutherland as looking suspicious. When she returned to the Robbers’ hideout Chris “The Muscle” Pitman and Damien “The Swagger” Lorfice were pointing guns threatening to eliminate eachother.
Day Three: Andrew “The Menace” Cowin was able to stop The Muscle and The Swagger from shooting eachother, but The Swagger was still pissed and he and The Drama Queen left the hideout to go look at Kerley’s Jewelers again. But three nights in a row turned out to be too much as Sgt. Wells and Officer Siebenmorgan were able to arrest The Swagger and The Drama Queen.
Day Four: After losing two teammates, the Robbers decide to pull off two robberies; one at a convenience store and one at a shoe store. Both are pulled off smoothly, but the Robbers were a little sloppy in hiding their identities. The Verdict finds something interesting in the mystery buildings in the south-west quadrant.
Day Five: What Verdict found was a small building packed with guns and technology suited for heists. The Cops were in disarray after the Robbers pulled off two robberies. PI Pat Sutherland witnessed the Convenience store robbery, and was soon met by PI Micah George with whom he had a complex history. The Cops at the scene noticed the two PIs, and chased them, hoping to make two more arrests.
Day Six: Both Micah and Pat were arrested but released when it became apparent that they were just PIs. Chief Pitman found the tape at Flower Convenience that had the Robbers’ faces on it. The Verdict decided not to tell anyone about the secret guns for the time being. Sgt. Wells and Officer Tyla Leonard began chasing another possible Robber, but it was PI Silas, and he got away anyway. Sgt. Wells however saw someone suspicious at 54 Logger Court, which incidentally was part of the Robbers’ hideout. Where Silas had escaped to was the backyard of the hideout, and through the window he could see a few Robbers down there.
Day Seven: Moving around front from the backyard PI Silas Pedro stumbled across Bryant “The Legend” Trotman sitting on the porch. Another chase ensued with Silas again getting away, but now both the Cops and the Robbers had his description. Matt “The Verdict” Hinton took Matt “The Wit” Binnington, whom he trusted, to the secret guns, but they were intercepted by Ryan “The Architect” Mateulewicz and were forced to tell him as well.
Day Eight: Chris “The Hutt” Harris found an office building called Naysayer Publishing, in which he hoped he could find information to potentially rob it. Deputy Chief Heidman questions the two Robbers they caught and considers freeing The Drama Queen if she gives integral information. Lt. Wilson and Officer Edwards find a secret labyrinth of tunnels leading out from the mystery buildings. They begin to explore the tunnels.
Day Nine: The ten remaining Robbers try another heist, this time at Naysayer Publishing. Everything goes really smoothly, until Lt. Wilson and Officer Edwards stumble across a secret door into the building when they were searching the tunnels. They call for backup, and the heist is partially stopped. The Architect, in a bold move, decided that he should be the only one who knew about the secret guns and shoots The Verdict and The Wit. But unfortunately for him, he was arrested along with The Hutt and Bryant “The Legend” Trotman. With the killings and the arrests, the Robbers’ team had dwindled from 12 members to 5 members in 9 days, though they had taken $100,000 from Naysayer.
Day Ten: The Robbers began to worry about their chances in the game. The Cops were partying because they had arrested five Robbers at $75,000 a piece. The Wit was not partying in the hospital. He had been shot, but apparently not critically enough, because he was still in the game. He began plans to exact his revenge.
Day Eleven: Siobhan “The Stylist” Wilson, goes to the police station and flirts with Cpt. Dirks who willingly gives her a tour of the station because he assumes her to be merely an interested female. Her information however is to be put to an important use, a jail-break. The Wit, out of the hospital, decided to go back to the mystery buildings to search them all.
Day Twelve: With PI Micah George hiding across the street taking information, the Robbers attempt to free their captive teammates. They are successful for the most part as they free The Architect, The Legend, The Swagger and The Drama Queen. The Hutt was not able to escape. Also, Officer Phil Siebenmorgan was killed in the line of duty.
Day Thirteen: PI Micah follows the trail of the escaped Robbers to a very busy house on Logger Court. Both PI Silas Pedro and PI Michelle Whiting were hiding in the backyard, and Dan “The Cold Killer” Wylie was looking around the house to find out what was making noise in the yard. Micah decided to risk everything, ring the doorbell, and bring attention to the PIs in the backyard. The Cold Killer stumbles across Micah while he is escaping.
Day Fourteen: Silas, running from the backyard, collides with The Cold Killer which allows PI Micah to escape. PI Silas runs back towards his house, and Adam “The Chump” Clarke chases him from a distance trying to find the elusive PI’s house. Lt. Wilson and Officer Edwards check out the mystery buildings again, but this time they are not alone as The Legend is there as well. This meeting results in Officer Edwards and The Cold Killer being shot, and having to go to the hospital to survive in the game.
Day Fifteen: Newly freed Damien “The Swagger” Lorfice urges the Robber team to pull off some more robberies, and they decide to pull three off all at the same time in the middle of the night. The Cops however, intercepted two of the heists, and killed The Swagger and The Drama Queen and arrested The Stylist. Officer Eby was shot in the leg during the action.
Day Sixteen: Andrew “The Menace” Cowin took a new hideout, and the remaining Robbers brought their newly acquired loot to the new place. Chief Pitman and Deputy Chief Heidman got into a heated argument over Heidman shooting the two Robbers, and Chief Pitman allowing the jail-break to happen earlier in the game. The Cops were being divided. Micah decided to use Pat as bait.
Day Seventeen: While The Stylist, now in jail, continued to gain information from Cpt. Dirks, the hospital had gotten rather busy, with The Cold Killer, Officer Edwards and Officer Edwards all nursing “injuries.” The Cold Killer had been healed though, and was being transferred from the Hospital across the street by Lt. Wilson, when Matt “The Wit” Binnington came out of nowhere, killed Lt. Wilson, freed The Cold Killer, and took him to his new hideout. From there, they began to plan how to exact some payback on The Architect.
Day Eighteen: The Cops continued to be divided by the arguments of their two leaders, Kyle Pitman and Scott Heidman. The Menace and The Chump who had followed PI Silas Pedro the other day, hid out in Silas’ house with hopes of eliminating him when he got hope. Silas however got a jump on them and made it down to his basement where he had to think quickly before The Menace broke down the door and eliminated him.

Stay tuned for a sneak peek at what you can expect from each remaining contestant in the game.
